The Wine Advocate:

I loved the second vintage of this single-vineyard wine from Valtuille. The 2016 El Valao feels fresher and with better integrated oak than the initial 2015. It's perfumed, floral, expressive and open, with aromas that combine flowers, berries, spice and a touch of earth. The palate is medium-bodied with abundant, slightly dusty tannins. It finishes clean, dry and long. 2,600 bottles were filled in May 2017.
