The first wine ever produced in the project was the 2018 Mixtura Gold, a 50/50 blend of Treixadura from sand and Albariño from white granite soils in Portugal, the finest two plots he has. It fermented in a used 1,200-liter Stockinger cask and then was in a gres pot for two years. It has a very clean nose, floral and perfumed, with notes of white and yellow fruit, very subtle with elegant spice and smoke, and the palate is medium-bodied, polished, velvety and integrated, still young and lively, evolving very slowly and with very good persistence and an almost salty finish. 1,288 bottles were filled in August 2021. A great debut. No 2019 or 2020 from this wine were bottled, as it's only bottled in the finest vintages, perhaps 2021 and almost certainly 2022.
No me termina de convencer tanta complejidad en un vino. Creo que le resta interés. Lo terminé pero es muy difícil de disfrutar.
Esperaba mucho mas. No entiendo las valoraciones de la gente de Parker (95?) y Peñín (98 puntos???). Mala relación calidad-precio.
