The Wine Advocate:

The super balsamic 2019 Peñalolen Cabernet Sauvignon has tons of aromatic herbs and exotic spices, reminiscent of a vermouth, with notes of vanilla and cinnamon, nutmeg and cola nut. It's ripe and exuberant, with high ripeness and alcohol (14.9%) but the usual XL balance. Like most wines here, it contains small percentages of other grapes, 7% Petit Verdot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot. Very exotic and showy. 48,351 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2022.

Wine Enthusiast:

Wines from Peñalolen in Maipo Valley have a distinctive spicy and herbaceous character that makes their wines unique. This one isn't the exception. It opens with aromas of eucalyptus, licorice and black pepper. The palate is full-bodied with prominent toasted oak flavors followed by fig, herbs and light notes of paprika wrapping up the slightly warm finish.
