Iraila, the Basque word for September, is a thrilling new Garnacha from Remírez de Ganuza, sourced from two plots – La Rad and Sisabal – in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Fresh, floral and very racy, with barely a whisper of oak, fine-boned tannins, raspberry and wild strawberry fruit, tangy acidity and remarkable focus and palate length. 2024-32

Intensely perfumed with cedar and French oak aromas over refined floral notes and delicate red fruit aromas. It shows some oxidative development that adds complexity. Delicious with plenty of luscious fruit, so smooth and caressing for the palate, long and expressive. Unique.
