The Wine Advocate:

The single vineyard 2013 La Danza del Viento is pure Garnacha from the village of Cadalso de los Vidrios and wants to showcase the character of the zone, which for them is red berries, blackthorn and the surrounding vegetation of almond and olive trees. The uncrushed grapes fermented with 80% full clusters with indigenous yeasts. Élevage lasted for 14 months and was in 300- and 500-liter French oak barrels. 2013 was a cool, fresh vintage, not without challenges. It seemed to start off with a faint note of volatility and some notes from the oak barrels over a core of red and black fruit and some spiciness. It also seemed a little closed. The palate is medium to full-bodied and doesn't seem to have the length the stems usually provide. It has quite some tannins that might get polished with some more time in bottle. It made me hesitate. I remembered the 2012 as a much lighter, more floral wine. There are 900 bottles of this wine.

4 Monos finally have their own small winery in the village of Cadalso de los Vidrios in the province of Madrid. Their wines are sold under the Vinos de Madrid appellation even though they belong to the Garnacha de Gredos association and to the Gredos geographical zone. They focus on Garnacha but also have one white from the local Albillo grape, and surprisingly enough one Cariñena, as they found out that one of the small plots of vineyards they found was mistakenly planted with Cariñena. And that Cariñena is quite nice, by the way...
In 2013 they produced 7,200 bottles and in 2014 they grew to a grand total of 8,500.
