Arrayán Garnacha Peluda Rosado 2022

The fresh and aromatic 2022 Rosado de Garnacha was produced with the Garnacha Peluda strain of the variety (regrafted in 2005 on Merlot planted in 1999), which has higher acidity and lower alcohol than the regular Garnacha Tinta. The summer of 2022 was extremely warm and dry, and the harvest was earlier. As a result, the wine managed to finish with 13.4% alcohol and a pH of 3.11. It's a bit reductive, with notes of rose petals and strawberries, and it has a serious mouthfeel, finishing dry. 1,333 bottles were filled after the wine matured in egg-shaped clay tinajas for five months. It was bottled in March 2023.
