The Wine Advocate:

Aged in a combination of foudres and 300-liter barrels, the 2018 La Clape la Falaise reveals hints of cracked pepper, mixed berries and licorice on the nose. It's full-bodied and expansive in the mouth, rich and mouthfilling without being heavy or overdone, buttressed by silky tannins and ample depth of fruit. It's a lovely effort that should drink well for 4-5 years.

Jeb Dunnuck:

The 2018 Falaise is a winner and comes close to matching the stunning 2017. Based on Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan from the La Clape AOC, the Grenache and Mourvèdre were aged in tank and the Syrah in 300-liter barrels. Beautiful cassis and black raspberry fruits as well as complex blood orange, spice, violet, and licorice notes all flow to a medium to full-bodied, incredibly pure red that has silky tannins, beautiful balance, and a great, great finish. It’s a rocking little gem of a wine!
