The 2015 Saint-Véran "Les Terres Noires" is blessed with a vivacious and lively bouquet with a palpable sense of mineralité underneath those delicate white flower and grilled almond aromas. The palate is very well balanced with a slight viscosity on the entry but counterbalanced by a fine thread of acidity and impressive precision on the finish. This is a superb Saint-Véran! This wine comes from a single vineyard site on a south/south-east facing slope. It is rich in everything that a Saint-Véran should have: ripe fruit, balanced acidity and a generous full texture. With acidity to match, this is developing into a fine wine. Drink from late 2018. - Roger Voss.
A adega borgonhesa foi fundada em 1980 por Michel Paquet e a sua mulher Jocelyn. Em 2015, os seus três filhos, Camille, Mathieu e Jean-Baptiste, assumiram o controlo do projeto. Tudo fica em casa.
