The Wine Advocate:

The outstanding 2010 Blue Fin Gran Reserva Brut is the wine the Mestres family recommends to drink with tuna. It's a blend of 45% Xarello, 35% Macabeo and 20% Parellada fermented and matured in barrel with lees for five months and put through a second fermentation in bottle, where it was kept with the lees for some 50 months. It's a Brut, with five grams of unfermented sugar. I don't know what it is about this cuvée that always feels complex and lively, and certainly in 2010, it has an electric palate with pungent flavors, penetrating and long, very intense and truly great. 15,000 bottles produced. The bottle I tasted had been disgorged in April 2017.
