Patrice Moreux Corty Intro Pouilly-Fumé 2019

The domaine's entry-level Pouilly-Fumé is a blend of grapes from various plots, and the emphasis here is on the fruit rather than the terroir. It lacks the elegance of some of the single-vineyard wines, but it's a great introduction to the style, offering an appealing combination of chalky flinty notes and warm lemon citrus fruit. Fairly broad in the mouth, though with refreshing acidity, and a juicy, zesty citrus finish. Drinking window 2022-2024.
