The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Guix Vermell was produced with Garnacha from a vineyard located next to Les Manyes in Priorat but on the Montsant side at 800 meters altitude that is worked organically and in the process of being certified. The wine fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts and matured in concrete for six months. The aromatics here are incredible, it's intoxicating and perfumed with notes of violets, lilies and blood orange peel, really showy, elegant and complex. They believe this is where they want to go with this vineyard and wine, they picked the grapes at exactly the right moment, full of flavors and aromas while keeping the alcohol relatively low. This has a beautiful tannic structure, that seems fragile but with lots of energy. Incredibly elegant and harmonious. 1,050 bottles were filled in May 2020.

James Suckling:

Intense aromas of slate, mineral and plum. Tar and gunflint, too. Medium-bodied with a very dense center palate and silky, racy tannins. Flavors of stone, tanned leather and tile at the finish. Drink now or hold.
