Shaya Habis 2010

"From old vine Verdejo, the 2010 Shaya Habis is aged on the lees for eight months in 500- and 600-liter French oak barrels. It offers an almost Burgundy-like bouquet with superb delineation: subtle notes of dried apricot and orange zest. I wanted it to blossom in the glass but it remains very self-contained. The palate is well-balanced with plenty of ripe mango, grapefruit and honeyed notes. This is rounded and generous in the mouth with a long, appealing mango sorbet-tinged finish. It is not quite as complex as it thinks it is - but it is delicious. Drink now-2017".
