The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Valles de Lavia Valle Venta del Pino was produced with grapes from different vineyards in the Venta del Pino Valley in the southeast of Bullas, wider and more aerated than the Valle del Aceniche. It fermented with some 40% full clusters and indigenous yeasts and matured in used 500-liter French oak barrels for 13 months. It has 14.5% alcohol and a low pH of 3.3, which means very good freshness. This is a little oaky, but it keeps the varietal character and the freshness. It's very spicy and quite tannic, with a dry twist in the finish. 4,100 bottles and 30 magnums were filled in May 2021.
