Avaliação dos peritos

Tim Atkin:

2017 was a hot year and for Pago de Ayles, the earliest harvest until 2022. Despite this, the wine shows a lot of balance and has only just started to evolve. This blend comes from 3ha of Garnacha, Merlot and Cabernet and has spent 18 months in French oak, 70% new, whose influence has now softened with time bringing just a hint of smoky bacon and chocolate. Layers of dark fruit and plum dominate on the palate with a long, graphite finish. A very serious wine and important reference for the winery. 2024 - 2025

James Suckling:

This is a rich, fruity red with dark berry, cherry and some spice and walnut. Hints of chocolate and light coffee, too. It’s full and flavorful. A blend of garnacha, cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Drink now.
