The Wine Advocate:
The varietal 2019 Treixadura dos Canotos is intensely balsamic with bay leaf aromas and a light palate, where the wine feels quite ethereal with its 10.6% alcohol and good freshness and acidity. It comes through as dry and leaves a chalky sensation in the mouth. This fermented with 20% skins and stems for three weeks in stainless steel and matured in a 900-liter chestnut wood cask for nine months. 1,204 bottles were filled in June 2020.
