When tasting two reds from 2019 and 2020, one could see the difference in the vintages; compared with the 2019, the 2020 Colleita nº8 Tinto feels warm, ripe and heady despite the moderate alcohol (11.3%) and high acidity. But it's all relative, of course. The wine is light to medium-bodied and quite delicate with nice berry aromas. It's a multi-grape blend from their organically farmed vineyards that matured for 10 months in a 3,000-liter chestnut cask where it fermented. 4,096 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2021.
