The Wine Advocate:

The white 2019 Manda Huevos Blanco Carramainas was produced with grapes from the single vineyard included in the name. This is 95% old-vine Macabeo with only 5% Garnacha Blanca from a plot called Carramainas with silt and clay at 850 meters in altitude in Villaroya de la Sierra. The wine has good ripeness with moderate alcohol (13.27%), a low pH and notable, bright acidity. The juice from the full clusters fermented in six 500-liter oak barrels, where it matured with lees for three months; after that, it was racked into Flextank (plastic) eggs with fine lees and then matured for another 15 months. It has varietal purity with some notes from the lees and nice definition and balance, combining depth of flavors and elegance. Macabeo has a good track record for bottle aging. 2,640 bottles were filled in March 2021.
