Quinta de Couselo Tradición 2015

This is high on personality with stupendous top notes of lemon, cream, lime and white florals. The palate is creamy with tangy preserved lemon and ripe stone fruit notes, plus a slight nudge of oak. Persistent finish with a soupçon of salt. Really great stuff.

I'm a huge fan of José Manuel Juste's wines generally and their ability to age in bottle in particular. This is a delicious O Rosal cuvée of Albariño with 5% each of Caíño Blanco and Loureira that's aged in larger foudres. Toasty, intense and spicy, with a drizzle of acacia honey, tangy acidity, lots of concentration and undertones of saffron and nutmeg spice. 2022-29
