A complex Gran Reserva here with plenty of spiced red cherries, blueberries, potpourri and hints of chestnut and sweet spices. Linear and medium-bodied on the palate with fine, sleek tannins and a long, creamy finish. Vegan. Drink or hold. - Zekun Shuai, Senior Editor.
Based on fruit from the Sonsierra zone on the northern side of the Ebro River, this is an assertively oaked assemblage of Tempranillo with 5% each of Graciano and Mazuelo for added structure. Coconut and mocha aromas segue into a rich, firm, structured palate with more ageing potential in the tank. 2024-26
Cocoa, sweet plum, earthy and dried fruit nose. The palate is full-bodied with firm tannins and smoky oak. Long, refreshing finish.
