Terroir Històric presta homenagem às nove aldeias que renderam tributo ao Prior do Mosteiro Cartuja de Escaladei, onde viveram os monges que introduziram a viticultura em Priorat. O projecto, promovido por Terroir al Límit, assenta-se em três pilares: a cultura do território, a viticultura ecológica e a produção tradicional com as variedades nativas de Priorat. Um regresso às origens que olha para o futuro, com vinhos que procuram mostrar às gerações futuras uma cultura vitivinícola única. É um vinho branco austero, sério e com muita personalidade. Uma verdadeira descoberta.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2018 Terroir Históric Blanc is a constant blend of 75% Garnacha Blanca and 25% Macabeo fermented with some skin contact that gives it a golden color, a nose of quince and peach kernel and a fine tannic sensation on the palate. It has lots of herbs and spices and feels a little lighter (the skin contact has been reduced) with good freshness; it's powerful yet light on its feet and very tasty. 7,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2019. - Luis Gutiérrez. 

James Suckling:

Lovely, layered white with sliced apples, mangoes and minerals. Crisp. Medium body. Creamy texture and a flavorful finish. Shows intensity and beauty. About 50% whole-bunch fermentation. A blend of grenache blanc and macabeo. Drink or hold.
