The red 2021 Garnacha Tinta is aromatic, floral, clean and vibrant with a lively palate. The 14.5% alcohol goes completely unnoticed and is compensated and balanced by the freshness and acidity (pH is 3.4, with 7.2 grams of acidity). The wine comes from old vines in Moncalvillo worked organically (but not certified) and the grapes were fermented, uncrushed, with 5% of stems with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. The wine matured in one 500-liter French oak barrel and two 225-liter Hungarian oak barriques for one year. It's varietal, expressive, balanced, clean and delicious. 1,304 bottles were filled in November 2022. - Luis Gutiérrez.
