The Wine Advocate:

The pale and austere rosé 2019 Jhana has the soul of a white rather than a light red. It's a blend of Merlot and Petit Verdot but goes beyond the varietal character of the grapes, which were picked to deliver a wine with 13.52% alcohol and a pH of 3.5 with 5.8 grams of acidity, reflecting a slightly warmer and riper year. The nose reveals a notable absence of fruit and feels quite stony, and so does the palate, which is dry and austere and finishes with a chalky feeling. This is a very different rosé. It matured in mostly second use barrels for 14 months, but the wine doesn't show any oak aromas or flavors. 3,500 bottles were filled in December 2020. It should age nicely in bottle.
