This later ripening site in Alcubilla de Avellaneda came into its own in the heat of the 2019 vintage, although the resulting wine still has plenty of texture and weight. The oak is more settled here than on the 2018 release, complementing the violet, bramble and blueberry fruit. Floral and intense, with engaging freshness on the finish. 2024-32. 

James Suckling:

A well-balanced and harmonious Ribera del Duero with aromas of dark berries, cedar, dried herbs, cloves and roasted meat. Full-bodied with fine tannins. Velvety and poised with a supple texture and focused, precise finish with excellent length. Best after 2024.
