The Wine Advocate:

The light red 2021 Psicodélico was produced with a field blend of late-ripening local grape varieties, where at least 70% of the grapes are white (mostly Macabeo) and the rest an old field blend of seven or eight varieties like Provechón (Bobal), Robal, Cribatinaja and Garnacha that were all harvested and fermented together. It's from a plot called La Sotera, with many different expositions and altitudes, an impossible slope. It fermented with 100% full clusters and indigenous yeasts in concrete with a 70+-day maceration, and it matured in neutral 30- and 500-liter oak barrels for 12 months. It's pale and bright, with a very expressive nose of blue flowers and fruit, a little exotic/wild, different and very attractive. It has only 12.5% alcohol and more balance, freshness and acidity parameters than in previous vintages—a pH 3.26 and acidity of 6.2—with a sensation of citrus freshness, very tasty and with very fine tannins. Lots of complexity and nuance here. The vineyard is beautiful, and so is the wine. 2,166 bottles were filled in October 2022.

Tim Atkin:

Only 8 different local varieties were harmed in the making of this wine! The blend includes both white (70%) grapes and red (30%) including Garnacha, Provechón (Bobal), Macabeo and Cribatinaja, all from a tiny parcel (0,5 ha) in the town of Alpartir. Beautifully floral, this offers sweet pomegranate and Turkish Delight on the palate and is juicy, complex and a little ethereal. Attractive woody notes on the finish add a little structure to this intrinsically subtle and characterful wine. 2023 - 2027
