The Wine Advocate:

The 2018 Marselan Reserve was aged for eleven months in 25% new French oak and comes in at 14% alcohol. This is due to be released in May 2020. This has reasonable depth and concentration, although it is not exceptional in that regard, a fresh feel and a respectable finish. The structure is good too. The tannins are ripe. The fruit is nicely lifted on the finish, and the array of red-fruit nuances dribble nicely over the palate. It's pretty delicious. I suspect it is a step behind the 2017, granting that both are not here together, but it still looks pretty fine. This was a year, said the winemaker, where it matured fast and they made decisions to keep it fresh. It seems to have worked out well overall. This can be approached now. It probably won't reward long aging, but it can certainly hold a few years. There were 1,050 six-packs produced.

Wine Enthusiast:

This deep ruby colored wine has aromas of black currant and Mediterranean herbs. It is pleasantly spicy on the tongue, with lush tannins and flavors of black cherry, cranberry, eucalyptus, clove and nutmeg that subside into a remarkably bright finish.
