Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

Freshness and richness combined, with a distinct salted-peanut edge to the apricot, pear, biscuit, hazelnut and crumble character. Medium-bodied with a creamy and mouth-filling mousse. Balance of elegance and density. 100% pinot noir from 80% Verzenay and 20% Les Riceys. 2016 base, with 20% reserve from 2015. Disgorged 2021. 6g/L dosage. Drink now or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

This NV Princes Brut Blanc de Noirs is 100% Pinot Noir and is entirely based on the 2012 vintage (80% from Verzenay and 20% from Les Riceys). Disgorged in July 2017 with a dosage of six grams per liter, this bottling opens with an intense but fine bouquet of red fruits and some ethereal notes like fir needles and juniper. On the palate, this is a mouthful of round, fresh and delicate Champagne! It is seriously structured yet very finessed, lithe, elegant and persistently aromatic, with lovely cherry and black currant flavors in the finish. Just gorgeous! Tasted November 2017.

Decanter:

The NV Princes Blanc de Noirs is sourced only from village ranked as premier cru or grand cru located in the sector of Montagne de Reims, with the exception of a single vineyard from Riceys in the Aube department to the south. Fine and intense bouquet of red berries, almond, herbs and spices. The palate is undergirded by lively acidity that provides freshness and vivacity. Exquisite equilibrium in this wine, which will shine even more in 3-5 years. Dosage: 6g/L.
