The Wine Advocate:

There were tons of sweet spice aromas in the 2019 Alba de Domus, the "second wine" from the same terroir as Domus Aurea, cropped from a warm and dry year when the wine reached 15.9% alcohol. They describe this as a complex wine with abundant fruit, a voluptuous body and a touch of menthol. It has a full body with fine tannins and good balance in the XXL way. It was produced with 89% Cabernet Sauvignon from vines planted in 1970, 5% Merlot and 3% each Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, and it matured in 225-liter French oak barrels, 20% of them new, for 20 months. 20,507 bottles were filled in March 2022.
