It’s not hard to like the blast of sour-cherry fruit in the nose, but when you get to the palate it becomes clear this is not a fruit-driven wine, but one with ample structure for this grape. Tons of licorice character at the bold but moderately dry finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
