James Suckling:

A full-throttle syrah red with tons of forest-berry fruit and smoke on the expansive nose. The huge fruit and considerable dry tannin make a very bold statement on the palate. In it’s head-banging way, this is balanced and well made, but for us it would help a lot if the volume could be turned down from 10 to 9 or even 8. Drink or hold.
