Luis Moya works with six parcels to produce this Garnacha that sees some oak (500L) as well as a little tinaja for around a year. The acidity is very typical of the northern parts of Navarra, direct and precise, and perfectly balances the concentration of the fruit. It’s minty fresh and spicy with red fruits and some darker berries, and while it is inherently elegant, it is not overworked. Delightfully honest and repeatable! 2024-27

The Wine Advocate:

The 2020 Korteta is a red blend of 92% Garnacha and 8% Graciano from six different vineyards where he makes wines like Artaxo, Ostoki, La Tapada or El Yesal. Here, Graciano makes the blend sharper and energetic. It's ripe without excess at 14.3% alcohol and has a low pH of 3.42 and good acidity. It fermented with 10% full clusters and matured in used 225- and 300-liter French oak barrels and some glass demijohns and small tinajas for 10 months. It's juicy and tender, with fine tannins, very pleasant. 3,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2022.
