The Wine Advocate:

The 2018 Luis Peique was produced with grapes from Tesin de la Campana and Mata Los Pardos in Valtuille de Abajo, two places with very old vines. The grapes fermented with full clusters in used 500-liter oak barrels, where the wine matured for one year. It' polished, elegant and aromatic, with the advantage of some time in bottle and aided by one of the finest vintages of recent times. It has fine-grained tannins and a velvety mouthfeel with more developed flavors and a sleek finish. Only 600 bottles were filled in August 2020.
