Decanter:

There's something of an overripe edge to the fruit here, but mostly very ripe blackberry. Good freshness and intensity on the palate however, it has drive and focus. Plenty of tannic grip. It's potent and intense, and makes a bit impact. One third aged in new oak.

James Suckling:

Notes of blackberries, blueberries, licorice, lavender and rosemary. Full-bodied with firm, sleek tannins. Firm and dark-fruited with a tannic finish. Try in 2023.
