The Wine Advocate:

Picked in January 2017 and vinified in 100% new barriques for two years, the golden-colored 2016 Amigne de Vétroz Réserve Mitis Grain Noble opens with a deep, intense and spicy bouquet with tropical fruit aromas, white nougat and honey. Full-bodied, sweet and elegant on the palate, with serious grip and remarkable finesse, this develops a long, complex and salty finish with crystalline acidity. Tasted in February 2021.

 Intense aromas of dried pears, peaches and caramel. Toffee, too. Fresh and focused. Full-bodied and very sweet. Layered and extremely intense. Long and crunchy. Beautiful. Drink or hold.
