The Wine Advocate:

I tasted again the pricey 2015 1237, which had been very oaky, powerful, ripe and concentrated in my previous tasting. 2015 is a powerful year, and this red blend of Monastrell, Garnacha Tintorera and Cabernet Sauvignon was bottled at 15.5% alcohol. It matured in 500-liter French oak barrels for 21 months. This feels like a different winemaking era, with smoky and meaty aromas and flavors, lots of tannins and a dry finish. Will this ever digest the oak? It's a question mark today. For fans of the style. Production figures and bottling dates do not really match the information I was given previously.
