Los Loros Albillo Criollo 2018

The varietal white 2018 Los Loros Albillo Criollo is sharper and fresher than the wine from the previous year, which was a lot warmer. It comes from a plot planted ungrafted in 2008, now in its third vintage. It had a short aging of two months in 500-liter oak barrels. There are some exotic aromas that match the golden color and the ripe yellow fruit; it's a more voluptuous white than the Listán Blanco, with focused and marked flavors, a fine texture and more austere expression of the variety than the 2017 I tasted last time. 1,350 bottles were filled in May 2019.
