The Wine Advocate:

I tasted two vintages of the red wine, including the older 2018 Los Loros Listán Negro, made with grapes from different vineyards from different producers located at different altitudes. The 2018 contains some Listán Blanco and Castellana grapes that were co-planted with the Listán Negro in one of the vineyards. It fermented with some full clusters that were foot trodden in plastic bins and matured in well-seasoned, neutral 225-liter oak barrels for six months, and then it was let to decant in stainless steel tank for a further five months before bottling. It's fruit-driven and quite straightforward, attractive, darker and riper than the 2019. The palate is juicy with mellow flavors and fine tannins that make it nicely textured. 2,400 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2019.
