The dark, earthy and herbal red 2019 Tinto do Demo comes from a field blend of 70% Caíño Longo, 20% Sousón and 10% Brancellao in their Eigón Vineyard in the Avia Valley. In good and ripe vintages (such as 2019), they like to extract a little more from the reds and age the wine in barrel, where this blend matured for 10 months. It has an earthy rusticity, a fine thread of abundant tannins and vibrant acidity (the pH is 3.4). 2,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2020.
