How can you resist? This dry riesling is mouth-filling yet cool and graceful, with a slew of lime and reine-claude plum aromas, plus a touch of fresh sage character. Excellent structure beneath all the ripeness, the mineral acidity accentuating the juiciness at the long finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

The 2021 Riesling Löhrer Berg is still discreet on the nose but clear, bright and fresh, with notes of crushed stones and lemons highlighting the ripe apple and lemon aromas. Round and lush on the palate, this is a dense, ripe, textured, mouthfilling Riesling with still-young phenolic bitters on the
finish. This is a surprisingly rich and powerful but still elegant and refreshing Löhrer Berg. 13% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022. - Stephan Reinhardt.
