The organic Tenuta le Colonne 2020 Bolgheri Rosso is a classic expression with elegant lines and a medium-bodied presentation. This blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Petit Verdot and 20% Cabernet Franc is easy-drinking and fresh; it also awards a lot of local character and charm. You taste black fruit, spice and a hint of hot-climate grape skins. Some 50,000 bottles were produced.
Intriguing aromas of black olives and flowers with crushed-stone and blackcurrant notes. Hints of tar and blackberries, too. Full-bodied with layers of fine tannins that spread across the palate. 50% merlot, 30% petit verdot and 20% cabernet franc. Drink or hold.
