Proveniente de pequenas parcelas de vinhas muito antigas no município de San Vincente de la Sonsierra, este tinto é uma homenagem a todos os viticultores que desejaram preservar e cultivar as vinhas antigas, apesar dos seus baixos rendimentos. Uma verdadeira joia da Rioja que valoriza locais excecionais, capazes de nos proporcionar vinhos da mais alta qualidade.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Grandes Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente de la Sonsierra is a new wine produced with grapes from grower Jesusa Areta, who is mentioned on the label. This is a sprout from the Linder project and range for exceptional vineyards that deserve to be bottled separately. In this case, they have bottled this wine since 2011 but never released it until now. They fermented the 3,000 kilos of grapes from very old vines in an oak vat with indigenous yeasts and matured the wine in a mixture of barriques and foudres for 12 to 15 months. The wine is surprisingly elegant, very floral and balanced, ethereal but with weight. It's a delicate, complex and rare Rioja with a very special taste. It's exceptional. 2,993 bottles were filled in July 2021

This has old vine character with bark, moss, mushrooms and earth as well as hints of black pepper. Full body with a sense of the vineyard and spice. Juicy and flavorful finish. Drink or hold

The top of the range red under the Lindes label uses fruit from bush vine parcels between 80 and 100 years' old in the San Vicente de la Sonsierra parcels of El Horo, La Liende and La Arena. Aged in foudres and a small percentage of 225-litre barrels, it's a complex, sophisticated blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo, with aromas of violet and fennel, filigree tannins and layers of bramble, plum and blueberry fruit. 2025-35
