Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

The red 2020 Salanques was produced with 65% Garnacha, 25% Cariñena and 10% Syrah. It showed generous oak (it spent 12 to 14 months in barrel) and plenty of tannins on the palate, and despite having less alcohol than the 2019 I tasted next to it, it felt riper. 2020 was a challenging year of rain, heat and fungus, and tasted next to the 2021, the 2021 showed better balance. It's ripe at 14.5% alcohol. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2022. - Luis Gutiérrez.

Tim Atkin:

100% Carinyena from 120 year old vines in Poboleda, aged for 12 months in French oak. Smoky, dark fruited and mineral, with an incredible structure; firm but somehow also fluid and elegant with it. This is classic Priorat on the nose, but there's a real sense of delicacy on the palate. Great length and energy, with a herbal tinged finish. 2024-2038
