Tim Atkin:

First produced in 2000, with no wine made in 2002 and 2007, PS is Aalto's top wine. Sourced from La Horra and La Aguilera in 2017, it does malolactic in barrel before ageing in 100% new French oak. The result is bolder, riper and more concentrated than the regular bottling with layers of red fruits, notes of liquorice and toast, structured tannins and racy acidity. Built to last and will certainly do so. 2022-32.
