La Sombrilla 2019

Marcial Pita considers 2019 a classic vintage, like the ones from yesteryear, and the 2019 La Sombrilla shows that character; it's fresh but powerful, with moss and river stone notes, very good parameters, contained ripeness and alcohol (12.4%) and very good freshness. It was a classic and complete vintage, with good ripeness, warmer than cooler but very complete and with great wines. It's clean and elegant, pure and crystalline, with a slow development. It's very good for current consumption, but it will continue growing. It has great complexity, depth and nuance. Good quality and better quantities. The finest vintage to date. 1,320 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2021.
