"The non-vintage Reserva Real was created in 1987 when the company received the King and Queen of Spain. It is made from classic Cava varieties and is a selection of the best of several harvests. After first fermentation it is closed in cork rather than crown cap and is disgorged by hand with a 4 gm/l dosage. It has an intense nose of brioche, fruits de mer and crisp lime that positively leap from the glass. The palate has fine balance with attractive bread and yeasty notes and a harmonious, elegant, quite understated finish. This is very fine".
