From vines around the house of Michel Chapoutier and 100% Viognier, the 2018 Vin De France Esteban sees an interesting vinification (it's put into bottle with around 20-25 grams of sugar and finished primary fermentation in bottle) and is a crisp, completely dry sparkling wine. Beautiful lime and citrus notes, as well as some lees and brioche character all, emerge on the nose, and it's medium-bodied, with a rounded, supple, beautiful texture and a dry finish. It’s a terrific, singular wine.

Lo abrí junto a un champagne blanc de blancs y salió ganando, un acierto de burbuja !
Un espumoso diferente, digno de estar en cualquier cava. En mi caso lo compré porque me encanta Chapoutier y este vino tiene su sello.
