The Wine Advocate:

The golden colored white 2012 Reserva Blanco has a much more developed and complex nose, with diesel-like/mineral hints, lots of verbena and chamomile aromas with some tangerine skin in the background. It has a round palate with pungent flavors. This is halfway between the classical whites aged for a long time in oak and the more modern ones where fruit dominates the aromas and flavors. It feels fresher than the previous 2011, clean and attractive. It should develop nicely in bottle.

Tim Atkin:

This stunning cuvée of Viura with 20% Malvasía and 10% Garnacha Blanca hails from a single 42-year-old, limestone-rich parcel at 650 metres in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Saline, leesy and stylishly wooded, with no malolactic fermentation, it's taut, chalky and intense, with remarkable length and poise. Still very young. 2020-27
