This reminds me of the best white burgundies I tasted back in the 1980s and early 1990s. The aromatic subtlety, the textural finesse plus the underplayed power are all beautiful. The candied lemon character also corresponds with the old textbooks. Very long, chalky finish that has so much energy. From a southeast-facing site. Sustainable. Drink or hold.

Gorgeous melon and peach, honey and toast aromas with a decadence of crushed stones and lemon peel to enliven. Rich and generous with a crunchy green apple acidity.
