Expressivo, potente e encorpado. Expressa aromas de cerejas, groselhas e ameixas pretas, que dão lugar a notas minerais, de mirtilos, tabaco e especiarias.
Boca
Saboroso, suculento, encorpado e complexo. Apresenta estrutura, mas com taninos sedosos. A acidez ideal confere equilíbrio ao conjunto.

As vinhas situam-se nas colinas de Milon, imediatamente a seguir ao planalto de Carruades de Lafite.

Areia fina misturada com areia eólica sobre um subsolo calcário de origem terciária.

Decorreu entre 4 e 22 de setembro.
Vinificação
Fermentação em depósitos de inox.
Envelhecimento
Estágio em barricas de carvalho francês (40% novas) e 15% em talhas de barro.

Falstaff:

Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Fine dark forest berry fruit, nuances of blackberries and cherries, delicate precious wood spice, underlaid with mandarin zest, a hint of nougat in the background. Juicy, elegant, hearty cherries, ripe, integrated tannins, mineral and lemony, some currant in the aftertaste, shows length and maturity potential.

James Suckling:

A juicy and savory red with blackberry, chocolate, dried meat and earth aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with plenty of flavor and a forest floor aftertaste. Ripe tannins. A blend of 73% cabernet sauvignon and 27% merlot.

The Wine Advocate:

A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot, the 2025 Duhart-Milon is a lovely classic in the making, offering up notes of wild blueberries, cassis, rose petals and orange zest, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, pure and polished palate that's lively, harmonious and suave. It checks in at a modest 12.5% alcohol.

Decanter:

Fragrant blackcurrants and dried herbs on the nose. Really succulent and grippy straight away, immediately so charming and soft, almost creamy with a touch of powdery tannins – but such depth and concentration of fruit – ripe but still cool, you get flesh but freshness too. Such great construction – nothing over the top. There’s fleshy tannins, round mouthfeel but such elegance and refinement with the vein of bright, tangy, driving acidity that just carries the overall expression. So long. Brilliant. 13% press wine.
