The Wine Advocate:

The 2020 1771 feels harmonious and balanced, subtle and less evolved than the 2021 I tasted next to it. It's ripe without excess, with varietal typicity, some earthy rusticity, notes of tree bark and soil, dusty tannins and a powerful mouthfeel. It has some creaminess, toasty notes and spices too.
