Mitad Macabeo, mitad Garnacha de viñas viejas (1969). Norrel Robertson MW es el encargado de elaborar este blanco con métodos borgoñones en bodega. Destaca por una nariz exuberante y un paso por boca salino y sabroso. Tanto el nombre como la imagen de este vino homenajean a su origen (Calatayud) con una referencia directa a Mahoma Rami, el arquitecto del Papa Luna que proyectó en el siglo XV la mayoría de iglesias y edificios de la comarca.

This shows notes of dried herbs, lemon zest and some dried pineapple. Flavorful and medium- to full-bodied with a saline profile that makes you salivate. Lovely textured finish. Incredible value. The white 2023 Manga del Brujo Blanco, a 50% old-vine Macabeo and 50% Garnacha Blanca from an early harvest, has much lower alcohol than the previous year, with only 12.8% (versus 13.7%), a pH of 3.33 and 5.57 grams of acidity, meaning good freshness and balance and a sharp profile. The two varieties were pressed together, and the juice fermented after settling overnight in 500-liter oak barrels, where it fermented with natural yeasts and matured with lees for five months. It's young, clean and fresh, with notes of chamomile and aromatic herbs, and it has consistency and complexity. This is delicious. 16,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2024.
